The Lasalle Titans Minor Mosquito - Green Team lose a tough game - 16 to 5 to the Walker Homesites (Lawton) Team
The
Titans started off the first inning with a walk from Tatum, who then proceed to
steel home for our first run of the inning. Landon hit a single to center
field, who also stole home for our second run. Walker Homesites came back with
5 runs.
The Titans were then shut down in the top of the second and Walker Homesites answered with 3 runs in the bottom of the inning.
Although the Titans scored 2 more runs in the top of the third, Walker Homesites came back with a flurry of hits, scoring 8 runs.
Aiden came in for the last out in the bottom of the third and stayed for the rest of the game, completing a total of 2 1/3 innings. During which time he had 6 strike-outs and only gave up 1 run.
Josh made the play of the game, running half way across the field to catch a fly ball in foul territory.
The Titans scored another run in the top of the 5th, however, Walker Homesites took the game 16 to 5.
