LaSalle Titans get their bats going - ending their losing streak in style against the Essex Yellow Jackets: 22-3
After a tough series of games, it was exciting to see the Titans win, using hot bats and aggressive base running to mercy the team from Essex.  Although the team was shorthanded, several called up players made key contributions to the victory.

Josh started the game pitching a scoreless first inning, striking out one and forcing a pop out and groundout.  In the bottom of the first, the Titans racked up 11 runs on 6 hits and 6 walks, along with 20 stolen bases.  Key hits were made by Jack and Caleb, driving in 1 and 2 runs, respectively.  Call-ups Marcus, Andrew, and Jackson all made it on base and eventually scored.

In the second inning, Sullivan entered the game and pitched an excellent inning, featuring three strikeouts and only allowing a single run.  In the bottom of the inning, LaSalle scored three more runs, with Andrew driving in a run with a single.

In the third and final inning, Max was fantastic, striking out one and giving up only a pair of runs.  He assisted in the final out, scooping up a grounder and tossing to first.  In the bottom of the third, the Titans slugged eight more runs, with 7 runners reaching base on singles.  Aiden and Andrew drove in a pair of runs each, and Caleb added an additional RBI.

A fourth inning was played for fun, with Landon making his pitching debut.  A well-deserved pool party followed the game, with lots of smiles all around!
