Mosquito Minor Green (04), 2014, Titans (Turtle Club Baseball and Softball)

Josh started off the 1st inning throwing 6 strikes and 4 balls to get the 1st three Amherstburg batters out - 3 up, 3 down....

On a dreary, rainy day in Chatham, the Titans put on a valiant show against a big hitting team from Chatham.

On a cool and drizzly July evening in Belle River, the Titans fought hard and came out with a nail-biting draw with the Belle River Braves.  Pitching and defense were centre stage as the Titans overcame an early 5-0 deficit.

After a tough series of games, it was exciting to see the Titans win, using hot bats and aggressive base running to mercy the team from Essex.  Although the team was shorthanded, several called up players made key contributions to the victory.

The Titans started the game with a rough inning, giving up 6 runs in the top of the first.  The rest of the way, they were able to match the Hawks’ scoring, but were unable to overcome the early deficit.
