After two wins last week against the tournaments host team, TC faced off once again against Forest Glade. This time around Forest Glade was better prepared for TC. Forest Glade came out with bats blazing, scoring ten runs in the first 2 innings. Despite a solid effort from TC, Forest Glade played tight defense and didn't allow TC to score many runs. In the end, Forest Glade took the win and moved on to the final game. Special thanks to Forest Glade for hosting a great tournament. Great job TC at your first tournament, now to focus on next weekends tournament hosted by Windsor Central.

TC had another eventful tournament game Saturday evening against the South Canadians. Both teams were 1-0 going into the game. Our bats came alive in this game scoring 16 runs. Michael Gibb had the biggest hit of the game with a hard shot to left field. With quick and smart base running, Michael turned it into a home run. Good defensive play again by the entire team helped keep runs to a minimal for the South Canadians. With excellent teamwork by all, TC picked up the win 16-6. Next game Sunday June 18th at 3pm.

Friday night, despite heavy rain that threatened to cancel the game, TC Rookie Selects went on to play their first tournament game. The first game of the tournament was against a strong Belle River team. Both teams demonstrated a strong defensive game keeping it a low scoring game. Belle River held onto a small lead for the first few innings until TC rallied in the later innings, squeaking out a 6-3 win.
