Windsor Central Tournament June 23-25
This weekends three day tournament is hosted by Windsor Central at Optimist Park. The tournament is hosting six teams from Windsor Essex County in a series of games over the three days. TC will start the tournament off vs Belle River Friday night at 6pm.

Friday night we faced off against Belle River in an evenly played game. With good defensive play and good hitting from both sides, the game stayed close for the first three innings. With a big triple by Xavier Russell in the 3rd inning, he ensured the win by bringing in two runs. All in all it was a strong team effort by TC with a win of 16-9.

Game two, Saturday at 8am, vs tournament host Windsor Central was an exciting game. With a tie game until the 4th inning the boys rallied and took the lead at the top of the 4th. On offense our biggest contributors were Preston Gwilt and Mason Pare both of whom hit well with multi base hits. Tarek had stellar defensive play with two line drive catches to hold back Windsor Central. It was a high scoring game, both teams rallied hard. In the 5th inning Windsor Central fought hard and scored multiple runs, but TC was able to hold them back and take the win of 25-23.

Game three, Saturday at 1pm, vs Forest Glade was another close game. Losing to them in last weekends tournament TC didn't want them to come out and take a huge lead like in the previous tournament. It was a close game that went back and forth through the innings. With good defensive play by TC, with Alex Stressman getting all three outs in the fifth inning, the boys closed out the game. The team will move on to the championship game Sunday at 1230.
