Titans Give AAA Effort At Tecumseh Tourney to finish in a Tie for 2nd
The Titans finished the 2016 Tecumseh Blast Tourney with a 2-1-1 record to finish a tie for 2nd with Cambridge.  Unfortunately Cambridge won a tie-breaker and went to the finals against Brampton.   Brampton beat Cambridge 13-3.

After beating Tecumseh Friday night in their last at bats, the Titans did it again Saturday morning by scoring 2 runs in their last at bats to pull out a 9 to 9 tie with Cambridge.  The Titans had 11 hits and everyone reached base at least once.  BB, Miggy and T-Ray had multiple hit games.  The pitching proved strong again as the Titans only needed to use 2 pitchers, with Boey starting and AC finishing.

The bats even got hotter against Stratford with the Titans belting out 17 hits in a 12 to 10 win over Stratford.  In the end, it came down to a great throw from AC to Pizza-man to nail a runner at the plate and save the game.

Once again everyone reached based at least once with BB, Boey, AC, T-Ray and Pizza-man having multiple hit games.  Strong pitching again from Wild Thing, T-Ray and Miggy allowed the coaches to save pitching for future games.

In the final game of the day, the Titans lost 18 to 11 to AAA Brampton, who mercied all of the teams they played in the tourney other than the Titans (Including a 13-3 win against Cambridge in the finals).  The boys should be proud of their effort against the only AAA team in the tourney, showing determination, class and their never give up attitude.

The coaches, parents and fans should be very happy and proud of the boys.  In this writer's opinion they were the best AA and under team last weekend.
