The coaching staff would like to congratulate the boys on a hard-fought championship victory in St. Thomas this weekend. After going 2-1 in the round robin, with wins vs. North London and Stouffville, and a loss vs. Halton Hills - the team's defensive play earned the lone wild-card berth into the playoffs. The bats remained hot for a semi-final victory vs. Whitby, leading to a rematch with a solid Halton Hills team in the finals. In a hard-fought battle, the Titans shelled out 27 hits in a 3.5 hour see-saw marathon, which finally ended in a 24-22 victory. Thank you to the parents, the organizers in St. Thomas, and the kids - for their sheer will and determination in an epic Sunday afternoon final! The 2-year wait for tournament play proved to be worth every moment! Great job boys!
