Mosquito Major Gold, 2017, Titans (Turtle Club Baseball and Softball)

For the second year in a row, the Titans reached the Semi finals in their opening tournament of the year at the St. Thomas Cardinals Tournament.

With many of the QUIET moms on hand to celebrate their day at the diamond, the Titans played another close game against the Tecumseh Rangers in their home opener at Villanova.  The Titans prevailed 9 to 6 after 6 innings. Wild Thing had a strong start before giving way to T-Ray in the third, who picked up the win. Boey earned the save with 1 2/3 innings of shutout relief. Boey led they way at the plate with 3 singles followed by Auffret with a double and a single and T-Ray with a single.  Scuba Steve added 2 more walks. The Titans next game is Tuesday May 16 at Riverside.

The Titans lost their opening game to the Chatham Diamonds on Saturday.  It was a back and forth game between 2 really good teams with Chatham pulling ahead in the 5th inning The Titans received great pitching from Miller, AC and Auffret.  Auffret (2 doubles) and T Ray (2 singles) led the team in hitting with Miggy, AC, Panda and Miller Time all chipping in with hits.  Scuba Steve and Wild Thing each had 2 base on balls. The Titans home opener is Sunday May 15 at Villanova
