Lasalle, ON – The Lasalle Titans 8U baseball team capped off a storybook season this past weekend by winning the coveted Ontario Baseball Association Provincial Championship, defeating the Newmarket Hawks in a high-energy final by a score of 18–9.
A Season to Remember
From the first pitch of the season, this Titans squad showed resilience, skill, and heart. Over the course of five tournaments, they reached the championship final in every single one, an extraordinary feat for any team. Out of those five finals, they brought home the title in four, with the OBA crown serving as the ultimate prize.
This wasn’t just a team with a few standout players. The Titans’ success came from a complete lineup where every player had a role and delivered when called upon. Whether it was power at the plate, smart baserunning, or sharp defensive plays, this team thrived on contributions from all corners of the roster.

In Sunday’s provincial final, the Titans’ bats came alive in a relentless display of offense, pounding out runs inning after inning. But it wasn’t just about offense, timely defense and strong teamwork made the difference when the Hawks threatened to rally.
