Bantam, 2014, Athletics (Turtle Club Baseball and Softball)

Our team of twelve young female athletes have been training hard since November, all along with their sights set on our provincial championships August 8 – 10 in St. Catherine’s. Drawing a tough first game against our rivals from Brampton, the A’s came up short losing their first game 3-2 in a two game elimination tournament. This meant they had a long road ahead in order to get back to medal contention. Saturday the girls came out hard making quick work of three competitors in a row: 15 - 0 over the Guelph Gators, 8 - 5 win against Oakville Angels, and finally 12 - 2 over the Halton Hills ...

The Bantam Athletics showed incredible grit, determination and teamwork in a great fourth place comeback effort in Barrie this weekend at the Bantam Provincial Qualifier.

The Athletics Bantams came home with their first piece of hardware on the season winning bronze medals at the 28th Annual Niagara Falls Teddy Bear Tournament.
