Curfew Kills Hornets Comeback
A bit of a sluggish start by The Hornets against a good Royal Blue squad last night.  The curfew worked it's way into play again, haulting a strong comeback by the Hornets, but it wasn't quite enough, as Royal Blue pulled out the 9-7 win.

A determined Royal Blue squad jumped out to a strong lead after the first two innings, while The Hornets chipped away to stay in the game.  Brandon, Xavier, Nolan and Owen took the hill for The Hornets, and did a great job keeping their team in the game.  Ty, Brandon, Xavier, Owen and Matt were strong at the plate, with defensive help by Gabe, Max and Jonathan.

In the end, the curfew changed the outcome of the game and halted the strong comeback by The Hornets.  After all was said and done, The Royal Blue team held on and came out on top 9-7.  A special shout out to Ty and Owen for another consistent performance, and to Xman, who hustled on the basepaths, and chipped in with a hit to spark the comeback in the last inning, which earned player of the game honours.  Hornets never gave up!!!!  Well done boys.  Go Green!
