Gearing Up For The Playoffs
The Hornets kept the ball rolling last night with a 10-7 win over Grey. The pitching and hitting all seem to be coming together as the Hornets gear up for the start of the playoffs.
With the Return of Nolan and Xavier to the lineup, they both contributed in the field and at the plate. Jonathan, Matt, and Ty all pitched in with solid performances at the plate. Special shout out to Gabe who made a fantastic one hop grab at second and then made the out at first. He also showed a renewed confidence at the plate after some extra team BP on the weekend. Owen chipped in at the plate when the team needed it, and closed out the game on the mound. Lastly, Congrats to Brandon, who pitched one shutout inning, went three for three at the plate, and earned player of the game.
