Ohio Buckeye Elite Tournament
The LaSalle Titans 16U's finished with 2 wins and 2 losses in the 64 team Ohio Buckeye Elite tournament.
In the 1st game the Titans defeated one of the pre tournament favourites, the Midwest Pelicans by a score of 5-4. Dimitri Shinas started and Matt Krutsch closed out the game on the mound.
In game 2 the Titans defeated the Central Ohio Clippers by a score of 6-2. Kalvin Mercier was the starting pitcher and Matt Krutsch came in to close out the game.
The 1st loss of the tournament came at the hands of the Up To Bat Titans, from Cincinnati by a score of 14-4. Matt PeBenito was the losing pitcher.
The Titans were then eliminated by a tough tournament team, the Midland Tomahawks that draws players from several states in a good game by a score of 6-3. Dimitri Shinas pitched a complete game in the loss.
The Titans were led offensively on the weekend by Colin Sartor, who batted over .500. Steven Sartor, Connor Dias, and Noah Renaud all batted .400.
