The 2008 LaSalle Athletics U15 Team took home a Silver Medal in the 2023 Barrie Bash Tournament. The coaching staff is extremely proud of the
Girls, after going undefeated in the Round Robin portion of the weekend prior to
losing a hard-fought final game.
The Team went undefeated in the Round Robin games (5-0) by putting up 37 runs and holding opposing teams to 2 runs over the weekend. This exceptional record propelled the team to a 1st Place Seeding for the Medal Round where the Team was able to beat a tough Palmerston Team in the Quarter Finals thus earing a berth in the Championship Game against the Halton Hawks.
The Team gave Halton everything they could but after a long weekend they came up just short in the final game and ended up taking home the Silver Medal in the Tournament. The coaching staff is extremely proud of the Team as they played hard all weekend and really showed a team atmosphere in everything they did. The Girls are continuing to build over the season with a second Silver Medal after taking one home earlier in the season at the NSA Fastpitch Fever tournament in Michigan.
