Mite (Bissonnette), 2017, Athletics (Turtle Club Baseball and Softball)

Congratulations goes out to the LaSalle Athletics Mite Gold team for their end of season league tournament win up in Springfield this weekend. The girls never gave up!! First fighting back to tie it up 3-3  in the semi-finals> against the Kitchener Klassics only to pull out the win in dramatic fashion in the bottom of the 6th inning with a homerun from the "Tirminator" Abby Tir to seal the deal.  

Congratulations goes out to the Mite Athletics Gold team for their tournament win up in Barrie over the weekend. The girls fought back hard from an 0-2 start to win their next two games battling the heat and diamond conditions to take the 4th seed going into the playoff round. The semi-finals proved to be a great battle between the #1 seeded undefeated Barrie Storm and our Athletics girls who pulled out an amazing 8-7 victory. The girls took that momentum into the championship game and defeated a very strong Brampton Blazers team to take the GOLD!!!!  Great job Girls!!! Coach Chad
