Clinics, MAC gym rules, coaches needed
Clinics
Our indoor clinics began this past weekend at MAC, and the majority of our
girls attended. It was a great success, particularly with the amount
of help from many parents and the smiles on the girls' faces.
Please
ensure your daughter has all her equipment for this weekend including a
batting helmet. Since we are likely using a pitching machine this season, I am
strongly urging you to purchase a facemask for their helmet.
Although it is not mandated, the safety of your daughter is of primary
concern. As a parent with two
daughters who play softball, the facemask is a must.
We will continue every Saturday morning at 11am at Monseigneur Augustin Caron.
MAC Gym Rules
There are a few simple rules that everyone attending the clinics (players, coaches, parents, siblings, etc.) must follow:
1. Nobody is allowed to go onto the stage for any reason.
2. No outside shoes are to be worn in the gym.
3. There is to be no wandering throughout the school. You must stay either on the benches inside the gym or the hall immediately outside the gymnasium
4. Food and drinks are not allowed in the gym.
5. Please clean up after yourselves in the event there is a mess.
Our time at MAC is a privilege and not a right.
Coaches Needed
We are still in need of coaches for our division.
Should you be interested in coaching this season, please let me know and kindly submit an online Volunteer Application at http://turtleclubbaseball.com/Forms/1000/Volunteer_Application/
As usual, please contact me should you have any questions, comments or concerns. See you Saturday!
Yours in Softball,
Mike
