8U "AA" OBA August Madness Champions!
This group of hard working 2013 players
were very excited to participate in their first year of travel baseball with
the Titans organization. Despite missing their entire 2020 house league
and Select seasons this group arrived ready to take on any challenge thrown at
them this winter. From the very first practice it was evident we had a
group of talented, hard-working boys that really enjoy playing and
learning the game of baseball.
Starting our local season with games in July this team got off to a hot start, earning a record of 7-1 before entering the OBA August Madness Tournament. The Titans were able to go an impressive 3-0 against both Sarnia and Belle River to earn a spot in the Championship bracket. The Titans were then able to go 6-0 against Milton, Sarnia and Clarington to earn the 8U A/AA Championship with an undefeated tournament. Even more impressive was the team’s +71 run differential in the final six games of the Tournament. The boys earned plenty of doughnuts thanks to all that great “D”.
