Organization - Rookie Select Tournament Champions
Submitted By Ian Mayer on Tuesday, June 21, 2016
Congratulations to the Rookie Selects for winning Gold this past weekend in the very competitive Forest Glade Falcons Select Tournament. The round robin games saw a couple of nail biters versus Forest Glade (won 11-10), and Belle River Minor (lost 19-21). They also took down Windsor Central (16-5), and Windsor South Canadians (16-10).

In the semi-finals they faced Belle River Minor in a rematch of a very close game the day before. Both teams battled in a very exciting extra inning game, with TC prevailing 21-17.

That set up the finals against the host team Forest Glade Falcons. There was some great plays in the field, and some clutch hitting that helped TC take the Championship by winning 8-6.This was this teams first tournament of the year!

The coaching staff could not be more proud of the effort these boys gave all weekend in the sweltering heat!
