Back-To-Back Mosquito Minor Tournament Champs
Congratulation to the
Mosquito Minor T1 team on their 2nd tournament championship in as many
weekends. After going 5-0 last weekend the boys went 4-0-1 to take the
Vaughan Vikings AA Tournament this past weekend (the tournament used the new
2020 pitching rules). After pool play the boys were able to secure a bye
into the Semi-Finals by earning the 2nd seed in the tournament. In the
Semi Finals the Titans won a shootout with Stouffville Yankees then faced a
resilient Ajax Spartans team in the finals and shut them out 7-0 to earn the
Championship victory.
Outstanding pitching and stellar defence lead the
team to their 2nd Championship of the season. Thank you to the Vaughan Vikings Baseball Association
for putting on a great tournament.
