Walk-Off Gives Titans Tournament Championship
Submitted By Ian Mayer on Monday, July 1, 2019
Congratulations to the Mosquito Minor T1 team on their Tecumseh Summer Blast tournament championship.  In thrilling fashion the Titans went 5-0. Lead by solid pitching the Titan steamrolled through round robin play giving up just 11 runs while compiling 65 offensive runs and batting .485 as a team at the plate.

The championship game was a total team effort.  The boys managed to put up 18 hits, but faced a resilient Burlington Bulls team that managed to escape innings with limited damage.  Backed by solid pitching, the Mosquito Minor team never gave up, stayed mental strong and managed to battle back from a 6-3 deficit to tie the game in the 5th. Then with the game knotted at 6 going into the bottom of the 7th they rallied to win on a walk off. Congratulations boys!

Thank you to Tecumseh Minor Baseball for putting on a tremendous event.
