2018 9U Rookie Major T1 OBA "A" Champions
The Lasalle Titans Rookie Major T1 team captured provincial gold by
winning the 2018 OBA championship in Tecumseh, Ontario on Labour Day weekend.
These Titans went undefeated going 6-0 for the tournament. 2 of these games,
including the championship game, were won in the 7th inning. In the finals, the Titans were down to
Bolton the entire game until a come from behind rally in the top of the 7th inning put them up
by 1 run. A solid Titans defense, which only allowed 16 runs total in 6 games
during the entire tournament, held off the scrappy team from Bolton to claim
the title. Kudos to these 9 year old kids who learned to play their hearts out
for each other, and for the name on the FRONT of their jersey. GO TITANS!
