This article is to help clarify some of the changes that TC has made this year with regards to the registration for baseball and softball.

T-Ball
Little Turtles - 8 teams
Jr. T-Ball - 8 teams
Sr. T-Ball - 8 teams
Baseball
Rookie BB - 8 teams
Mosquito BB - 6 teams
PeeWee BB - 6 teams
Softball
Mite SB - 4 teams
Squirt/ Novice/ Bantam SB - 2 teams
1. Online registration - this was introduced to help all those busy parents out there. We have introduced online registration to allow for people to register from the comfort of their own home or from wherever they can get internet access. We do not have online payment yet, but that is something we are looking into for the future.

2. Payment - Since we did not set up online payments for this season, we set up and conducted two "Cheque Drop Off" dates that coincided with the transitions from Earlybird pricing to Regular pricing, and then from Regular pricing to Late Fees.
As long as you registered your child within the specific period prior to 2/14/16, you will pay the Regular or Earlybird pricing accordingly.
If you missed these two Cheque Drop days, you can mail your cheques to;

3. Wait List - In an effort to encourage people to register early and allow for the excellent planning that our board members do for house league to run and be ready for Opening Day, TC has implemented a waiting list this season, along with a late fee for those who register 2/14/16 or after.
Although this is unfamiliar to many people it will hopefully in the future encourage people to decide and register early.
The concept of the wait list will, in theory, help the division directors add children where we may have deficiencies in registration numbers, and cap divisions where adding kids would only take away from the experience that TC has proudly provided for over half a century.
In the end, late registrants will be placed on a wait list that will be reviewed regularly by the division directors. The division directors will then decide whether or not their is room in that division for more players. After the decision is made, the registrants will then be notified as to whether they were placed on a team for this season, or if we could not accommodate them this season. The deadline for all registrants to be contacted is 4/15/16.
4. Receipts for Taxes -
Parents/Guardians please ensure you receive a copy of your children’s REGISTRATION FORM, as it is the only RECEIPT we will issue!! It contains all pertinent information needed to receive the Fitness Tax Credit for the tax year. It was emailed to you when you registered online if you checked the box.
Please note, these receipts are only for funds received for House League player payments. If you played on a Travel team, or paid extra to play on a Select team, please contact the TC Treasurer for a receipt. (http://turtleclubbaseball.com/Staff/1003/)
