2014 Umpire Opportunities, News (Turtle Club Baseball and Softball)

The change over from Little League to Ontario Baseball Association (OBA) has required some changes within the Umpiring program.  The house league umpire program will be similar as in past years; however, the Titan/Travel team Umpire program will undergo some changes for 2014.

With the movement of some of our senior umpires there will be openings in the Titan/Travel umpire program.  If you are interested in umpiring the Titan games there are some pre-requisites that will be required:

• Have an OBA level one umpire designation (or the ability to take the level one course prior to March 1.2014)
• Must have umpired for a minimum of one year (does not have to have been with TC)
• Attend the TC in-house training as required
• You must be willing and prepared to perform base or plate duties.
• You must also be willing to umpire house league games
