KIDS ROCK THE ROGERS CENTRE
AT
THE
MLB
PITCH HIT & RUN COMPETITION
Olivia Scott (9/10),
Emily Roy (13/14), Blake McConville (11/12) and Jordan Gaudette (11/12) all
participated in the MLB Pitch Hit & Run Team Competition held at
the home of the Blue Jays, the Rogers Centre in Toronto, on Sunday, June 17th...
These players had to place in their local sectional competition and win their regional competition. Their scores were compared with all the other winners across Ontario and the top 3 in each age division were invited to Toronto to compete.
Twenty-four players took the field and 4 were from Turtle Club! Other parents were asking: “what's Turtle Club?” and “where's LaSalle?” because our kids did so well!
Olivia won 1st place in her division. Emily and Jordan placed 2nd and Blake placed 3rd.
For winning first place, Olivia (along with the other first-place winners) was introduced before the game and in front of a sold-out-crowd of 45,000 people!

It was an awesome experience for these kids to compete on the Jays field. The TC kids (wearing their green socks) competed hard, had fun and truly represented the spirit of the Turtle Club!
Another Proud moment for TC :)
