T-Ball Selects Win SILVER!
Congratulations to the Girls T-Ball Selects team for capturing silver in Ancaster over the weekend in both the all-girls and A division.
The girls went 2-1 in pool play securing a spot in the championship game of the all-girls
division on Saturday night. Here, they met a very powerful, talented team from
Ancaster and settled for the silver medal, but they were not done yet. Sunday, after the
teams were reseeded, the girls played exceptionally well in the A division playoffs and
were able to again, make it to the championship game on Monday where they faced the
same Ancaster team from days prior. It was the first time in the history of the
tournament that the championship game in that division was played by all girls. After a
very hard-fought game, the girls were awarded the silver medal.
Congratulations to all of the players for their efforts, determination and incredible play all
weekend long. These girls played their heart out and deserve all of the accolades
received. Special thanks to the best cheering squad at the park for supporting their run
all weekend long.
