2025 UMPIRE CAMPS (BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL)
Turtle Club Baseball and Softball is hosting two umpire clinics for the 2025 season. The first one, for softball, is scheduled for Saturday, April 12, and the second one, for baseball, is scheduled for Sunday, April 27.

The softball umpire clinic is a Softball Ontario umpire clinic being held at Turtle Club Park from 9am to 4pm on April 12, for individuals seeking Level 1 certification. The cost of the clinic is $80 payable online via the Softball Ontario website. Pre-registration (see below) is required. Registered participants are to arrive 30 minutes before the start of the clinic session (8:30am). The clinic is strongly recommended for those seeking umpire opportunities in the club’s travel softball program (LaSalle Athletics Softball) as well as the club’s house league and select softball programs, either this season or in future seasons. Additional potential opportunities include umpire assignments at local provincial championship tournaments this season.

The baseball umpire clinic is a Baseball Ontario Umpire Camp being held at the Villanova High School Gym on April 27 from 9am to 1pm. The camp is a required part of the certification process for Level 1 and 2 umpires. A maximum of 40 participants, seeking either Level 1 or Level 2 certification, may attend this camp. Pre-registration (see below) is required. The cost of the camp is $30 for Level 1 or $50 for Level 2, payable by CASH ONLY at the beginning of the event. Registered participants are to arrive 30 minutes before the start of the camp (8:30am). The camp is strongly recommended for those seeking umpire opportunities in the club's travel baseball program (LaSalle Titans Baseball), older divisions in the club's house league program, and/or in the club's select program, either this season or in future seasons. The camp is not required for those seeking umpire opportunities ONLY in younger divisions in the club's house league program (in-house training will be provided) BUT would still be of great benefit to those individuals, and is suggested for them.
