They developed into a consistent hitting and fielding team.
Titans were eager to start the first round of August
Madness, determined to play at the best of their ability. They were slotted to
play London, Burlington and St. Catharines in London. Excellent fielding and timely hitting all
weekend was the key to success. The Titans finished 6-0 with 88 runs scored and
22 against.
For the second round of August Madness the Titans made the trip to Clarington to play Quinte and Clarington. Titans battled all weekend, with games going back and forth they managed a record of 3-1. This left two more games to be played vs Burlington at home on September 4th. With a record of 9-1 in August Madness the Titans needed to win 1 game to clinch the championship. Burlington came out strong in the first game scoring 5 runs the first inning. Titans were focused, the hitting was contagious, the team battled and by the seventh inning the Titans were on top with a 19-15 win.
