Windsor South Canadian Tournament Update
Another fun weekend of baseball for our Mosquito Select Team, at the Windsor South Canadian Little League Tournament.

We started off Friday with a 6-11 loss against Windsor West. Offensive play of the game went to Tony Pilutti for a beautiful triple, and defensive play of the game went to Preston Gwilt for the catch at first.

Bright and early the next day the team went up against Windsor Central, winning 14-8. Offensive play of the game went to Adam Diotte for a crowd-raising home run and a grand slam, and defensive play of the game went to Preston Gwilt for an over the shoulder grab at first base. After a brief rest, the boys faced off against Stoney Creek. Despite having the lead up until the last inning, the team was defeated with a very close score of 6-7. Offensive play of the game went to Preston Gwilt for hitting a triple, and defensive play of the game went to Hugh Tomalty for overall fielding and pitching.

The tournament ended on Sunday with the team facing off against Windsor Central again, winning 10-3. Offensive play of the game went to Ethan Duby-Coulsey for a double, with honourable mention to Hugh Tomalty. Defensive play of the game went to Sawyer Ingratta for his good work at shortstop, with honourable mention to Alex Stresman.

The boys exhibited great sportsmanship and camaraderie throughout the tournament, and have really grown as a team. Looking forward to our final tournament of the season this coming weekend!
