Bantam Major Wins the Richmond Hill Tournament!!!
The Titans Bantam Major team went a perfect 6-0 on its way to being tournament champions this past weekend in Richmond Hill.
The team relied on incredible pitching and catching all weekend. There were three complete games over thrown by Nate Malenfant, Kevin Ward and Mitch With, who pitched a perfect game in the semi final!!!!!!!! Incredible job Mitchy!!! In the games where the team needed relievers, they were equally lights out. Congrats to Matt Lister and Cole Vickers for coming in and shutting the door when the team needed it. Shout out to Spencer Todd who caught all 6 games without allowing a pass ball and cutting down runners attempting to steal. The hitters were equally on fire all weekend. The team scored 71 runs while only giving up 11, with Nyles Duren and Chad Kristalovich hitting a couple of monster shots. Once again the Titans were stellar on defence turning numerous double plays and just missing out on a triple play to end the final against Richmond Hill.
Congratulations to all the players for an outstanding effort in the extreme heat!
