Athletics Novice Gold wins “Silver in the Snow”
The 2002 Athletics Novice Gold Team played the weekend of May 14 & 15th in Southfield Michigan in the harshest of conditions. The tournament was delayed due to freezing rain and snow throughout both days.

In spite of the conditions and by virtue of being “Good Canadian Girls”, the parents, girls and coaches managed to make the most of the experience. The girls maintained a winning attitude and displayed their infectious enthusiasm and competed in a division a year up of their age bracket.

Congratulations to our girls who managed to win “Silver in the Snow” while representing the Turtle Club (and Canada) with great pride and spirit. These girls make their parents and coaches proud to be a part of their journey! Well done Turtle Chicks!!
