10U Athletics and the Miracle League
On Saturday, June 14, 2014 the 10U LaSalle Athletics team got the chance to experience the game of softball as they never have before, and showed themselves to be true leaders and caring young ladies. The girls volunteered their time as "buddies" to some very special athletes during the Amherstburg Miracle League games. The experience reminded our girls how lucky they are to play softball at the level they do and what it means to love what you do and strive to be your best no matter the odds. As a coach and a parent I am proud of the level of maturity, compassion, and spirit that our young ladies showed on the diamond. Way to go Athletics!
