Hornets Survive Rough Stretch
The Hornets have suffered through a rough patch the last few games, losing their last four!! The coaches were thrilled that the team stuck together and were able to snap the streak tonight!!
First of all, Congrats to Brandon, Ty and Matt for earning player of the game the last three games. Tonight's tilt with an evenly matched Black team went down to the final out.
All the damage was done the first two innings, then the Hornets did not allow a run in the final three innings. The bats were on tonight as the Hornets played small ball, with everyone in the line up reaching base at least once.
A shout out to Ty, Jonathan, Brandon and Owen who delivered on the mound, and Max, Gabe and Matt who pitched in at the plate and in the field.
A true team effort was put forth tonight, with all players contributing. Well done Hornets....the coaches were proud tonight. Thanks to the Black team for helping us out in the field with two players missing. Way to go!!
