Aedan Sullivan stars as the LaSalle Titans Rookie Major defeat Niagara Falls, 19-2Friday was a great day for Aedan Sullivan, as he hit two home runs to carry the LaSalle Titans Rookie Major to a 19-2 victory over Niagara Falls at Brantford in five innings.
Nine runs in the opening three innings allowed the LaSalle Titans Rookie Major to easily put away Niagara Falls. An RBI single by Andrew Langlois, an RBI double by Owen Findlay, and a two-run home run by Brennan Valentini during the first inning and an RBI single by Nathan Gignac, an RBI single by Aedan, and an RBI double by Brandon Leblanc in the second inning supplied the early offense for the LaSalle Titans Rookie Major.
The LaSalle Titans outfielders were on fire. Nathan Gignac and Andrew Langlois came up with big catches showing their range and both Kolton MacArthur and Owen St.Pierre came up shooting from the outfield gunning out advancing runners.
Nathan Gignac connected with Aedan Sullivan at home plate to throw out a player and Owen Findlay came charging in from 3rd base on a slow roller off the pitcher kolten MacArthur and gunned down the runner at 1st.
The LaSalle Titans Rookie Major hit four home runs in the win. Additional home runs for the LaSalle Titans Rookie Major came when Owen St.Pierre homered in the fourth inning and Aedan homered in the fourth and fifth innings.
The LaSalle Titans Rookie Major pounded Niagara Falls as eight hitters combined for 22 hits, 16 RBIs and 17 runs scored.
