Awesome End to Season
Last night was a great effort by Gold, who put it all together for a 7-1 win over Black.
All aspects of the game were put together for a great team effort to wrap up the season. Great pitching performances were delivered by Ryan, Ty, James and Hunter, who together, were able to keep the big bats of the black team off the scoreboard until the third inning. They scored their only run of the game on a big hit, with two outs, with a runner on second. Other than that, pitching was stellar, striking out 12 of the 22 batters they faced throughout the game.
Our bats came out as well, with the offense putting seven runs up on the board. A great way to end the season.
The coaches would like to thank all the players for putting in a great effort all year. It was great to see all the players display sportsmanship and teamwork all year, which is what we set out to do at the beginning. We'd also like to thank the parents for being supportive and involved! Thanks to all for a GREAT season!!!
