Gold - "The Comeback Kids"
Last Friday night, the hard hitting Black team brought their bats and Gold Brought their gloves!!....
After a back and fourth first three innings of hitting and scoring, defense took over, which resulted in the last two innings of tight, low scoring baseball. Down by one run in the top of the fifth, Hunter started us off by getting a lead off walk, and was eventually brought in for the game tying single by Matt....then the "D" took over.
Shout out to Hunter and Jacob who single handedly shut Black down in the bottom of the fifth. Awesome pitching performances by James, Adam, Ty, Jacob and Hunter. Great to have Gabriel and Tyler back in the mix who added some depth to our lineup. Great job guys!!
Next up...a tough Red team on Tues night on Diamond 3.
