Peewee Major Captures Title
Over the weekend the Peewee Major Titans traveled to Eastern Michigan University for their annual August bash Tournament.

The boys worked really hard to prepare for this tournament and the results were impressive. In the first 2 games alone, the team put up 27 runs and allowed only 1. Their aggressiveness at the plate combined with their confidence  in their ability was incredible, and this resulted in a number of big hits. Along with the hitting, they executed outstanding base running and a superior defense...the kids just dominated all day. Back at it on Sunday and determined to finish 1st overall, the boys put on another hitting clinic and won 9-1, setting them up in the finals against the Great Lakes Wave, a team that we played before early in the season. Knowing the Wave is a tough team from previous encounters, the kids dug deep and played like Champions. Down 2 runs early in the top of the 1st, the Titans responded in the bottom with 3 of their own to send the message that they we not going to be pushed around. Battling back and forth, inning after inning, the Titans refused to take their foot off the gas and pulled out some old school tricks on their way to a 6-5 win. Special mention to the pitchers over the weekend; Aiden Carr, Brandon Pare, Jack Baker, Jeremy Lebert, Brody Lawton and Josh Chalmers. Also a big shout out to Ryan Cunningham who hammered a 300 foot home run single. I think that ball might still be in the air buddy!!!
