Barrie Tournament Champs!
Congratulations goes out to the Mite Athletics Gold team for their tournament win up in Barrie over the weekend. The girls fought back hard from an 0-2 start to win their next two games battling the heat and diamond conditions to take the 4th seed going into the playoff round. The semi-finals proved to be a great battle between the #1 seeded undefeated Barrie Storm and our Athletics girls who pulled out an amazing 8-7 victory. The girls took that momentum into the championship game and defeated a very strong Brampton Blazers team to take the GOLD!!!!
