Welcome to TC Sr. T-Ball
Parents,
Welcome back to another exciting year of t-ball here at TC!
T-ball here this year at
TC will be comprise of two separate age divisions.
The Jr. T-ball Division will
be comprised of 4 and 5 year old boys and girls,
while the Sr. T-ball Division will be made up of 6 year old boys and
girls.
At this time, the numbers show us having 8 teams in the Jr T-ball division and
6 teams in the Sr. T-ball division...
Winter Clinics for the T-ball division will be starting on Saturday, February 4th at Monseigneur Caron (MAC) on the corner of Matchette and Martin Lane. The players need to have indoor running shoes, jock/cup, baseball glove, helmet and a bat if you have one. For more information on the player clinics, please see below. There has been some issues at the gym: kids running around the foyer, people sitting on the stage, coffee cups and stains on the floor, just to name a few. It's really important that we respect this facility so we can continue to use it, so please stay off the stage and out of the hallways.
Currently, there are 11 managers and 27 coaches signed up. We need more help! If you are interested please send me an email so we can sign you up for the Coaches Clinic on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at MAC. It also requires you to get an updated police clearance - TC will reimburse the funds.
PLAYER CLINICS:
1. T-ball Player Clinics will start Feb 4th.
2. Typical Clinic Time Slots will be 12 noon until 5 pm Saturday's in 1 hour time blocks. Your suggested time block can be found in the attached file.
3. No Player Clinics on Feb. 11th due to Coaching Clinics.
4. No Player Clinics on Mar. 10th nor 17th due to March Break.
5. The end date of the Player Clinics is not known at this time but is expected to be mid April.
6. Opening Day is scheduled for April 28th.
COACHES:
1. T-Ball is looking for Sponsors for each of the 14 teams. See the Sponsorship section of the website for more info.
2. Please submit your request to coach to Jay Wharram, should you be interested.
3. All coaches will be required to have a Police Clearance from your local department prior to interacting with players. Even at the Winter Clinics.
4. All coaches must attend the coaches clinic on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at MAC
OPENING DAY:
April 28th is the plan!
