Q1

If we can't make it to our slotted Clinic time, should I just go to another?

Essentially the answer is yes. The registrants were basically broke up into 3, alphabetically just to try to balance the clinic attendance numbers. Please do your best to show up in the time slots that I have assigned, but it's understandable that things happen and conflicts arise. Please try to let your Division Director know which one you will attend if outside the assigned slot.
Q2  What does my son need for the Winter Clinics?

Each player who attends the Winter Clinics should bring indoor shoes, a glove, wear a cup, and preferrably bring their own batting helmet. Bats and Balls will be provided. Batting Helmets are available but your own is preferred.

Q3  Will this season be coach pitch or machine pitch?  TC is intending this to be a machine pitch season. We are working to get enough machines in working order to handle the baseball and softball needs on game days. The website will be used to keep you informed.
Q4  What is the deal with the Walkathon Pledge Sheet?  The pledge sheet is for each player to raise money through donations for the walk that is done on Opening Day from downtown Lasalle (Gil Maure Park) to Turtle Club Park. The money and the sheets are due to your coaches on opening day. (download)
Q5  Is the Brews and Cues fundraiser just for adults?  Typically it is just for adults. It is located in a bar, at night, so the atmosphere is indicative of an adult attendance. It's lots of fun so try to make it! There are plenty of prizes to be won, and friends to be made.
Q6  When will we know what team our son is on for this season?  The Draft is scheduled for the end of February. At that point the teams will be chosen, and your coach will contact you soon after with information regarding the schedule etc. After the draft additionally, the web site may be updated to reflect the teams rosters.
Q7  When will we get Uniforms?  Typically uniforms are available and distributed shortly before Opening Day. Your coaches will keep you informed.
Q8  What is this Pitch, Hit and Run?  It's an annual event that is held after the Opening Ceremonies on Opening Day at Turtle Club park. Kids 7-14 are invited to test their skills with a chance to move on to other competitions. It's a great thing to watch while you eat lunch after the ceremonies. Let your division director know if you are interested in competing. See the flyer
