TC TBALL SELECTS STRIKE GOLD AGAIN!
The road to Ancaster for the TC T-ball Select team included
a quick jaunt down the street to Veteran's Park for the Windsor South Canadians
Little League Friendship Tournament this past weekend. The team managed a
perfect 4-0 record in this tournament, capturing gold for the second time this
season. This weekend proved to be more of a battle of endurance and focus, as
these boys played their house league games prior to tourney play on both hot
and sunny days. The fatigue factor for these 6 and 7 year olds was very
evident in their last game on Saturday afternoon, as they just managed to edge
Windsor South in pool play.
A convincing win over the host Windsor South Canadians team on Sunday morning set the table for yet another rematch against a hungry Windsor South team. This time TC turned up the energy level a notch and displayed their true mettle during the Championship game. A strong all-around team effort on both sides of the plate, proved to be too much to handle.
This hard working team is looking to build on this momentum while they prepare for the World T-Ball Championship in Ancaster, ON in a few weeks. Keep it going, TC!
