Gold Medal at the Green & Gold Classic
Once again, the Mosquito Minor Gold team played their hearts out and came out on top. After going 2-1 in pool play, the boys came out swinging against Walker Homesites and moved on to the championship game against Oakville A's who were undefeated in the tournament. The bats started moving in the first inning earning them the lead which they held on to and although Oakville pushed hard and brought the score to within 6 runs in the 5th inning, the boys stayed tough and came out on top with a 16-8 win.
Outstanding pitching by Nathan Gignac, Kolton MacArthur, Cody Moore, Connor Smith and Owen "Knuckle Ball" St. Pierre. Amazing defense by Lucas Chartrand, Aedan Sullivan, Brennan Valentini and great swings at the plate from Owen Findlay, Andrew Langlois and Brandon LeBlanc.
